Skin Care Tips For Men And Women To Our Websites

The Essentials of Skin Care
The first step to taking care of your skin is preventing damage. Sun, wind, pollutants and simply aging can degrade the condition of your skin. Common complaints include dry and itchy skin, wrinkles, sagging, color changes, and age spots. Fortunately there are steps that you can take to keep you skin looking and feeling its best.

Exercise, rest, and good nutrition lay the foundation for beautiful, healthy skin. A proper diet isn’t just good for your overall health, it also helps to ensure that your skin will receive all of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that it needs to maintain and repair itself. Drinking purified water is another great way to keep your skin healthy. Water helps to hydrate the skin and move waste and nutrients through the system. It’s very effective to if you mix a teaspoon or capful of organic apple cider vinegar in with your water. Never drink Tap Water.

The most important way to care for your skin is to protect it from the damaging rays of the sun. Ultraviolet radiation damages the skin and can lead to wrinkles, premature aging, age spots, and even cancer. Take extra precautions to make sure your skin is not exposed to the sun’s rays. Use a natural sunscreen, or a moisturizer that contains sunscreen (at least SPF 15) every day. This doesn’t however mean that you should lock yourself inside all day, like some sort of vampire. Your skin needs some sunlight each day. Aim for 10-15 minutes of direct exposure around sunrise or sunset.

Dry skin is very common, especially with age. Older skin has fewer sweat and oil glands than younger skin. Dry skin may also be caused by frequent baths, certain cosmetics or medications. But whatever the cause, there are ways to alleviate the itchiness associated with dry skin. Avoid using harsh soaps when bathing, and if possible, cut back on the number of baths or showers each week. A sponge bath with warm water may help to clean and revive skin without stripping it of valuable moisturizers. When you do use soap, try using a natural, mild soap that doesn’t contain any dyes, parabens or perfumes. Follow up your bath with a moisturizing lotion, concentrating on problematic dry areas. A good all natural moisturizer is one of the foundations for a healthy skin care regimen. Continue moisturizing throughout the day to keep skin healthy. Your hands and face are particularly susceptible to daily damage, and may need to be moisturized more frequently.

A Skin Care Routine
A skin care routine doesn’t have to be elaborate in order to be effective. But you should develop some kind of skin care routine based on your skin type, daily activities, and nutritional needs so that you can be sure you are taking the very best care of your skin. Following a daily skin care regime will also allow you to more closely evaluate your skin for abnormalities. Here’s a simple routine that you can adapt to fit your needs:

Cleanse:
Wash your skin thoroughly on a daily basis to remove the dirt, debris, pollutants, and perspiration that have accumulated. If you have dry or sensitive skin, use only warm water to wash your skin and use a mild natural cleanser every few days. If you have normal or oily skin, be sure to wash with a gentle cleanser on a daily basis. Be sure to brush your teeth before washing your face, as toothpaste residue can irritate sensitive facial skin.

Moisturize: Unless your skin is very oily, you will want to use a moisturizer everyday to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Your skin needs moisturizer all year long as both the indoor winter heat, and summer sun can be equally damaging to your skin.

Protect: Use a natural sunscreen when possible, regardless of whether or not you plan on spending much time in the sun. The sun’s rays are very damaging and if you get in the habit of applying sunscreen everyday, you will never be left without protection. The sun’s most beneficial rays occur at sunrise and sunset.

A Look at the Skin Care Products
There are several types of skin care products that may make a useful additional to your daily skin care. These include cleansers, sunscreens, moisturizers, eye creams, toners, exfoliants, retinoids, herbals, and skin care supplements.

Cleansers: Cleansers help remove the dirt, debris, pollutants and perspiration that accumulate on your skin throughout the day. They come in liquid, foam, or bar form.

Sunscreen: Sunscreen is an essential product for the care and protection of your skin. While it’s true that a little time in the sun is necessary for the body to synthesize vitamin D, you really only need 10-15 minutes each day. Excess sun exposure can cause changes in the skin cells that lead to damage.

People with fair skin need to be much more careful than those with darker skin. But dark skin can become damaged too. Applying a liberal amount of a natural sunscreen with at least an SPF of 15 should prevent sun-damage and lower your risk of developing skin cancer. Many moisturizers come with sunscreen already included.

Moisturizer: Moisturizers can soothe dry skin and make wrinkles less noticeable. They come in cream, lotion, and oil form. Oil based moisturizers are good for severely dry skin on the on the arms and legs, whereas a cream or lotion may be; a better choice for the face, as it will leave it feeling less heavy and greasy. Use a moisturizer right after bathing to seal moisture into your skin.

Eye Creams: An eye cream can help to improve the condition of the fragile skin around the eyes. They help to hydrate and protect this area and may even help to minimize dark circles or temporarily tighten fine lines.

Toners: Skin toners offer extra cleansing to skin that tends to be combination or oily. But if your skin has become dry, avoid using a skin toner. These skin care products often contain alcohol or acetone, and can aggravate dry or sensitive skin.

Exfoliants: Moisturizers and cleansers that contain exfoliants help to improve the appearance of skin by sloughing off dead cells from the skin’s surface. They may also help to smooth out the skin’s appearance and even out discoloration from overexposure to sun. Since older skin doesn’t lose dead skin cells as readily as younger skin does, an exfoliant may be a good product for skin that appears rough and sallow due to age.

Retinoids: Topical vitamin-A based products called retinoids have made significant advances in reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They help to temporarily “plump up” the area around a wrinkle and thereby diminish its visibility. This is not a long term solution, but does offer some immediate results.

Herbals: Green tea and other herbal antioxidants can be applied topically or taken orally to fight free radical damage and improve overall skin appearance.

Supplements: Coenzyme Q10 is a naturally occurring cellular antioxidant that has shown potential in the prevention and treatment of several diseases, such as heart disease, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. It has also been utilized in many moisturizing products for its wrinkle reducing properties.

Skin Care Tips for Men
Most men develop some kind of skin care cleansing routine out of necessity during their teenage years. Acne, blemishes and attention from peers are the usual motivators for such habits. However, many men regularly ignore toning and moisturizing that can improve both the appearance and feel of their facial skin.

Skin care products and routines may seem likely stuff for women only, but men have skin too. And just like women, men can do wonders for their skin by simply learning a few basic principles of skin care. For starters, men need to understand what type of skin they have, how to care for their skin, and how to develop a skin care routine they can live with.

Know Your Skin Type
Before you can select skin care products you need to know what type of skin you have. Although women often learn these differences as soon as they can hold a bar of soap, many men find the question perplexing. Skin is skin, right? Wrong! Your skin can be normal, oily, dry, sensitive, or a combination. Here’s a primer for men on deciphering their skin type.

Normal Skin: If you’ve never had problems with oily skin or dry skin, it’s likely that you have “normal” skin. The pores of normal skin are small and the overall skin tone is even. If you’ve never given a second thought to your skin before, your skin type is probably normal.

Oily Skin: As its name implies, oily skin is slightly to moderately greasy. If you have oily skin, your pores are medium to large in size and prone to blockage. You probably have problems with pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and acne cysts. Oily skin is usually thicker and firmer than normal skin and it’s less sensitive to environmental damage.

Dry Skin: Dry skin characteristically feels tight and itchy. Winter is especially rough on this skin type. Dry skin is usually thinner than normal skin and may even be slightly rough to the touch. If you have dry skin, you may have noticed that your skin is also easily irritated.

Sensitive Skin: Men with sensitive skin are usually the ones who actually know their skin type. Sensitive skin is prone to rashes and breakouts from any kind of irritants such as sun, perfumes, shaving cream, temperature extremes, and even soap. Be very careful about the skin care products you choose if you have sensitive skin. Avoid products with dyes, perfumes, or unnecessary chemical ingredients that may irritate your skin.

Combination Skin: This skin type is used to specifically describe facial skin that has both dry and oily patches. Most commonly, combination skin exhibits an oily “T-Zone” (forehead, nose and chin) with dry skin on the cheeks and around the eyes. It is not uncommon for these oily zones to be reversed. If you have this skin type, you will need to purchase skin care products made especially for combination skin.

Fight Your Forehead Line With The Correct Products

The forehead line can be one of the most notable marks that you suffer as your skin begins to age. These lines in your skin can be particularly deep, wide, and noticeable, especially in men. The current fashion in men’s hairdos does not give them the opportunity to be able to mask these lines with bangs, which many women suffering from these lines use as a cover.

Most of the time the severity of these wrinkles is already set for you by your genetic code, because if your mother, father, or both suffered from severe forehead wrinkling, then it is more than likely that there is no way that you are going to be able to avoid them. The only way that you will be able to treat these unsightly wrinkles is through the replenishment of your lost collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.

The problem is though, that there is really not any formula being made available by a well known company that will effectively eliminate a line on forehead. What most of the formulas that these companies continue to push on the public are those that promise to increase the amount of firming tissue that is in the skin, by introducing these very tissues through the topical application of an anti aging skin care formula.

Anyone who has ever tried one of these products however, can attest that they simply don’t give you the kind of results that you would expect. Few people if any see results that last longer than a few hours at a time, and then quickly dissipate. This effect is mostly caused by the inclusion of astringents in the formula, because there is no way that the tissue compounds are causing it.

I make that statement with confidence; because there is no possibility of success in erasing a single forehead line using a product that contains what they claim is the proteins and disaccharide polymer that form the tissues in our skin. These compounds are too molecularly dense for the skin to be able to absorb them, and are therefore useless as wrinkle reducing compounds.

Some companies will try to fool their customers into buying these formulas by stressing the fact that they have rendered these compounds bio-available, but the truth is that they are insoluble and cannot be made thinner. What you need in order to alter your appearance is a set of natural compounds that are readily absorbable by your skin. Compounds such as Cynergy TK and Phytessence Wakame are the answer.

Cynergy TK is a combination of proteins and enzymes that will fill in a line on forehead by greatly increasing the number of collagen and elastin molecules the body is manufacturing. Phytessence Wakame is an extract derived from kelp that raises the level of the hyaluronic acid in your skin by simply hindering the activity of the enzyme group that causes the acid to degrade.

You will find that no forehead line is a match for Cynergy TK and Phytessence Wakame, as they are capable of eliminating wrinkles no matter how severe.

Here are some useful tips that will help you speed up your beauty routine when you are running late. However, don’t forget to treat your skin well when you have the luxury of time.

Choose Multi-Purpose Skin Care Products

Skin care products that serve multiple purposes save you a great deal of time and effort. Searching for different products for different needs can be very time consuming. This way they remove the extra steps and simplify your morning skin care routine. There are several multi-purpose skin care products available in the market today. You can find cleansers with toning benefits, cosmetics and make-up with moisturizers, moisturizers that double up as sunscreens, cleansers that help remove make-up and so on.

You can also consider using tinted moisturizers. They not only moisturize your skin but also help to illuminate your complexion. Use a tinted moisturizer and you can skip the use of foundation in the morning. This also comes in handy as a quick-fix solution after mid-day gym visits. However, make sure you cleanse your face thoroughly and remove all the sweat, dirt and debris before using a tinted moisturizer.

Product Suggestions:

Obagi C-Cleansing Gel
It is a gentle cleansing gel that combines the benefits of both prescription strength Hydroquinone and potent Vitamin C in one single pack. It gently conditions the skin with Vitamin C and also removes all signs of make-up along with oil residues and accumulated impurities leaving your skin fresh and clean.

La Roche Posay Anthelios SX
This is a non-greasy moisturizer that provides efficient sunscreen benefits. It moisturizes the skin gently and offers broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) protection as well. It contains Mexoryl SX which is photostable against UVA rays so it does not breakdown and lasts longer than most sunscreens. Is is also the first sunscreen approved by the FDA! It does not contain any artificial fragrances or parabens and thus is safe for all skin types.

Keep a Moisturizing Cream Handy

A moisturizing cream can be a life-saver! It offers numerous time-saving benefits whether you are in the confines of your home or outside somewhere. You can just keep a box of Vaseline handy and use it for a number of beauty and skin care purposes like:

Taming Eyebrows
Just a dab of the moisturizing cream is all you need to apply over your eyebrow strands and align them to perfection.

Softening Eyelashes
If your eyelashes feel rough and brittle, just smooth them with some cream and they will be smooth and glossy instantly.

Moisturizing Lips
Forgot to put your lip balm in your bag? Just get hold of some cream and rub it over your lips to get smooth and shiny lips. It may not last long and would require re-application but it is better than nothing.

Plan your Make-Up

You will be surprised to realize how much time you can save by simple planning your make-up before hand. Instead of spending precious time to search for the right shade of lipstick or eye shadow just set out your make-up the night before. And if you don’t have time to plan what you are going to wear the next day, just line up your cosmetics and products in a sane order. This will make it easier for you to get hold of what you need.

Grab the Beauty Basics

Here is a list of basic beauty products that you would need when you are running late. You can apply them in minutes and even on the go, if required.

Concealer
It helps to hide blemishes and dark spots and even out your skin tone.

Eyeliner
Just a whip of eye-liner on your eyes can instantly brighten up your eyes and make them look fresh and beautiful. This comes especially handy if your eyes look like you have just got out of bed.

Lip Gloss
Even if you don’t have time to line your lips and apply lipstick, a lip gloss will do the trick. Simply apply the gloss and you will have smooth looking lips.

How To Sport A Younger Look This Summer?

The primary cause for the development of aging signs like wrinkles and fine lines on your face is prolonged and unprotected exposure to sunlight. And during the summer months, the damage is highly increased because of the strong intensity of the sun’s rays. Also, when you swim in salt water oceans and chlorine pools in addition to spending time in the humid hot weather, your skin suffers. So, if you want to keep your skin younger looking and prevent all sun damage, you need to practice effective skin care tips and make sure that you are protected against the sunlight. You can get professional facials, follow an effective summer skin care regimen and make it a point to take good care of your skin all through the season.

Here are some things that you should consider and follow during the summer season.

Always wear Sunscreen!

This is probably the most repeated skin care advice. However, as many times it is said it is only to reinforce its importance. It is extremely important to wear a sunscreen all through the day regardless of the fact that you are exposed to the sun or not.

If slathering on too many skin care products makes your skin greasy, then consider using a moisturizer with SPF. Make sure it contains a minimum of SPF 30. some women believe that using a product with higher SPF would guarantee them better protection against the sun. this is not true though. An SPF 30 product gives you 96% protection while SPF 50 gets you 98% protection. The difference is only marginal. Products with higher SPF only have higher quantities of chemicals .

What really matters is how often you apply the sunscreens. Ideally, you should reapply the sunscreen after every two to three hours while outdoors, especially if you have been swimming , exercising or have been sweating a lot. Moreover, sunscreens tend to sweat off in the summer heat and therefore, its important you wear protective clothing , sunglasses and hats to help guard against the damaging sun rays.

What is worst is sun bathing and sun tanning beds. They tend to damage the skin even more and accelerate the process of premature aging. Therefore make sure you avoid them at all costs.

Combat the problem of Oily Summer Skin

Another common complaint during summer months is that of oily skin. Because of the summer heat and humid temperatures, the skin becomes increasingly oily and greasy. The solution to the problem is using light and oil-free skin care products. Use a good cleanser, preferably one containing potent ingredients like alpha hydroxy acid, glycolic acid or salicylic acid to cleanse your face. This will gently exfoliate your skin while keeping it moisturized at the same time. You can try the La Roche-Posay Biomedic LHA Cleansing Gel. It purifies the skin and helps to stimulate exfoliation. It evens out the skin tone, helps remove dead skin cells and helps with acne breakouts for a brighter complexion.
Wash your face at least thrice a day – once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once at night. Also, avoid wearing heavy make-up, especially oil based foundations that would make the skin oily. Another thing that you should avoid doing is using bar soaps on your face. The soaps have strong ingredients that strip off water and natural oils from the skin and leave it dehydrated. And to compensate for the lack of moisture, the skin cells produce more sebum (oil) and thus leads to increased oiliness.

Because of the increased oil production in the summer months, the skin is highly susceptible to acne and breakouts. Breakouts can lead to cystic acne along the chin and jawline areas. Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet and drink lots and lots of water.

Treat Rough and Scaly Skin

Summer heat can damage your skin and make it look rough and scaly. So, you need to exfoliate your skin and remove the dead skin cells from the surface in order to brighten your complexion. Use a scrub or exfoliating product like Obagi Nu-Derm Exfoderm Forte or Obagi Nu-Derm Exfoderm (depending on your skin type) and exfoliate your skin about twice a week. There are variety of scrubs and peels you can choose from. Try the Nia 24 Physical Cleansing Scrub. It contains Pro-Niasomes and removes dead skin cells and calms, hydrates as well as soothes the skin.

Best Eye Skin Care for Dark Eye Circles and Puffy Eyes

Do you know how important Eye Skin Care is for your skin? Many people do not realize that they must pay particular attention to the eye area. Eye skin care is essential in keeping your skin younger-looking and wrinkle-free.

Our eyes are constantly moving and the skin around them is stressed from the movements and squinting that occurs every day. This skin is much thinner and more sensitive than the rest of our skin. It is important to give this area individual attention. There are several creams and serums on the market that specifically target the under-eye area. Moisturizers are very vital to skin and it is recommended to pay special attention to the under-eye area.

There are also products on the market that can aid with dark circles that appear under your eyes. These can be caused by stress, lack of sleep, illness, and can also be hereditary. Many people place cucumbers on the eye area to help treat dark circles. There are also special creams that offer assistance.

Wrinkles are another problem that can be prone to occur in the eye area. The fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes are often referred to as crow’s feet. Some women opt to undergo plastic surgery to erase wrinkles. Others choose to use Botox treatments. These treatments may allow harmful side effects. Many wrinkle creams and serum are also quite effective.

Whatever treatment you decide on, it is imperative to add eye skin care to your daily skin care routine. This area is important and often gets neglected. You will want to look as young as possible and the sooner you begin your Eye Skin Care routine, the better you will look!

Veet? Survey Reveals Groomed Bikini Lines More Important to Women than Toned Bodies

Parsippany, NJ (PRWEB) May 11, 2011

As summer approaches and clothes inevitably get skimpier, Veet?, the number one depilatory brand in the world, surveyed women to find out what matters most when it comes to prepping for the warmer months ahead. While weight loss seems like a natural frontrunner for summer priorities, Veet learned that 74% of women think a groomed bikini line is the number one must-have this beach season, even more important than a toned body (17%). In fact, 83% of women would rather hit the sand five pounds heavier than with a visibly ungroomed bikini line.

The 2011 Veet Survey was conducted by an independent research firm on American women ages 18+ and delivered astonishing results (including that the average woman spends 30 minutes per week removing body hair) proving that hair removal is, indeed, a priority and critical element in the average woman?s beauty and grooming routine, and making products and services that deliver smoothness more important than ever.

?These results only confirm sentiments we strongly believed women shared on this topic,? says Kevin Harshaw, Marketing Director of Personal Care at Veet parent company Reckitt Benckiser. ?We are proud to have products in the marketplace that can simplify women?s hair removal routines, saving them time and money while delivering scientifically proven results.?

This year Veet launched new Ready-to-Use Hair Removal Wax Strips for Face & Body, which retail for $ 4.49 and $ 9.99 respectively, available at mass retailers nationwide. The Wax Strips join a family of Veet Hair Removal Creams which all promise to deliver smoothness that lasts. Last year, Veet took to Facebook where they have continued to engage fans and curious consumers in an ongoing dialogue about smoothness and beauty on their brand page, http://www.facebook.com/veet. There, consumers can download product coupons and receive tips, tricks and information on a range of topics tied to beauty, confidence and smoothness.

With 71% of women surveyed indicating they will never stop worrying about removing body hair, Veet is gearing up for a promising beach season and remains committed to delivering a pleasant and efficient hair removal experience with long-lasting results.

Skin lightening creams. The elephant in the room for black women?

Skin lightening creams have always been the elephant in the room among black women. Whether in the USA, Europe the Caribbean, South America…skin lightening creams, have held a taboo standing in the black community, yet women continue to use the creams, in order to attain a beauty standard, that is seen all too often in RnB videos, or amongst many of the biggest celebrities, the theme is always the same: lighter skinned black women.

Now if we add the fascination that African American men have with Latina women, we see the same theme: Lighter skinned women.

Is it a good thing, or a bad thing? To answer this, we have to take an objective stance regarding , and the reasons that black women use them. The basic argument against skin lightening is that it’s a form of self-hate, selling out our collective African descent, and heritage regardless of whether we are Black people from the Caribbean, Latin America, the United States, or Europe. However, that argument in itself could be said to be flawed because of the diverse range of shades of black on the African continent itself.

From seeing extremely light skinned Nigerian Igbo and Fulani women, some even having green and grey eyes, to the deepest, richest blue black of women in South Sudan, and every shade in between, it can be said conversely that the whole argument about skin lightening creams being about self-hate, is a flawed argument due to the fact that there are naturally light skinned people in Africa.

So is it selling out? Or is it Black women trying to actually look more Igbo, Fulani or Northern Somali and get closer to their African roots? It is an alternative viewpoint.

But, due to the negativity that has been directed at Black men, and especially dark skinned black men, and the behaviour that blacks display themselves, like for instance, overtly favourable attitudes toward lighter skinned blacks, one can see, that often, the choice to use a skin lightening cream, is a psychological one.

In short, a person who uses skin lightening creams, at the deepest level of their being, believes that by becoming lighter, they will feel better about themselves, and they will be treated more favourably.

It is as simple as that.

This is a choice, just as wearing mascara, lipstick, or using hair relaxer, hair weaves, getting a line up, shaving etc., these are all efforts, to change how you look and present yourself to the world.

It’s a choice, and if one feels they want to use skin lightening creams, then they can, if they choose to.

The real question regarding , really should be is safety. The majority of skin lightening creams on the market, that black women buy from neighbourhood beauty stores, owned by Korean and Pakistani business people, in the United States and United Kingdom respectively, are completely unsafe.

Dangerous ingredients, have been found in such skin lightening creams, sold by neighbourhood beauty stores, leading to serious problems for users.

It’s almost, as if there is a sanctioned effort to injure black women by the sellers of conventional, in the neighbourhood beauty stores.

Nubianblue.com, a specialist black skincare company, has developed a range of skin lightening creams that uses only natural plant ingredients, and enzymes, to lighten dark skin, that are safe and actually nourish the skin.

Seeing the need for a safe skin lightening product, the founders of the company ensured that all skin lightening creams made by NubianBlue.com undergo 28 separate quality tests, to certify safety, quality and effectiveness.

The founding of such companies such as NubianBlue, has allowed black women, who choose to use skin lightening creams, to feel safer and more comfortable using them, because they know, that the creams made by such specialist companies are safe as evidenced by skin lightening creams from NubianBlue.com , rather than black women who take chances buying essentially dangerous chemicals in a jar from neighbourhood hair and beauty shops.

Women Say That A Clear Skin Gives Them Confidence

~Kaya and A.C. Nielsen unveil results of a 4-metro survey on beauty and wellness~

She’s adding expensive skincare products to her shopping list. She’s watching her diet and exercising to stay in shape. She knows exactly what to do to fight the signs of ageing. She is the average Indian woman, confidently taking her place among the savvy women of the world.

A four-metro, in-depth survey by A.C. Nielsen, focusing on modern attitudes towards body, beauty and skincare, paints a clear picture of how focused, how open and how assertive Indian women are today, in their determination to look their best. The study, conducted in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai, covered 809 women in affluent SEC A households, ranging in age from 18 years to 50 years.

The study has been commissioned by Kaya Limited., India’s foremost chain of skin care clinics.

Giving top priority to skincare, more than 90% of the women surveyed, stated categorically that they would spend on products that they believe really work, regardless of price. Market trends, too, have shown a steady rise in demand for premium result-oriented products and treatments that promise to fight wrinkles, reduce lines and pigmentation and erase dark circles.

The desire for clear, flawless skin explains itself in another section of the survey, where

more than 90% of the women say that a clearly skin gives them confidence and definitely gets them noticed. Small wonder, then, that they are willing to invest in products and treatments that seem to show results.

The analyzing further reveals that across cities, worrying approximately age and its effects peaks lone in the late thirties, among Indian women. Moreover, 6 unwrapped of 10 of the women surveyed were fearless of ageing; because they were confident they could fight the ravages of time. Regular skincare tops the list of age-fighting measured, with 85% of the women surveyed believing in it. 77% give credit to anti-ageing technology and 73% of them understand technology can even help them look 5 years younger.

In fact, technology seems to be gaining acceptance rapidly, not only for specialised, high-end treatments, but also for basic grooming services wished hair removal. 78% of the women survey agreed that hair removal technology can save time in the long run, since hair is permanently removed in a few sittings. 72% of them also believed hair removal technology is cost-effective in the hankering run.

As important as skincare and ageing, of course, is the issue of weight, especially in these size-adjusted clocked. A significant 39% of the women surveyed perceived themselves as overweight. The reasoning – 53% of the women confessed to irregular eating habits and 52% put it down to lack of exercise.

However, weight control measure aren’t followed as rigorously as one would expect, though diets and regular walks or ramble find a mention. The findings underline the changeless refrain of modern dieticians and fitness experts: most overweight women go in for sporadic diets or bursts of exercise, when what is necessitate is a lifestyle change.

‘Women need to look at weight loss holistically, to combine a well-planned diet with an exercise regime. Stick to this, and you’ll have energy, health and self-confidence, along with a fit and toned body’ says a leading weight management expert.

But if the Indian woman can vanquish her facial blemishes, fight age and welcome international advances in grooming, it won’t be long before body maintenance, too, is well within her control.

Beauty is priceless…..

……if the product delivers, say the majority of Indian women.
