How To Get Rid Of Adolescent Stretch Marks?

You are young and getting rid of adolescent stretch marks is already more of a problem than a nuisance. Just how exactly do you manage to get rid of these terrible marks on your body?

It may be a question that most teenagers ask. You are not alone. Stretch marks are common among teens when they tend to over eat or have sudden growth changes. The severity of the marks depend on the person’s unique skin composition and growth rate. Most teenagers develop stretch marks during puberty. Clear lines that look like cracks are formed when the skin is stretched beyond its limit.

A sudden gain in weight or sudden growth can give you teenage stretch marks. Knowing the skin is elastic, when it is stretched way beyond its capacity the production of collagen and elastin is disturbed thus making a break in the skin forming stretch marks.  Studies have shown that a majority of adolescent girls and nearly half of adolescent boys are affected by this problem.  This may not be much of a medical problem in terms of significance, but cosmetically it can cause much ruckus among those affected. Stretch marks can be found in the thighs, breasts, hips, and on the buttocks.

Adolescent stretch marks are literally a mark of confidentiality among these teenagers. The bad news is they think they are the only ones suffering. The good news is that the solution of this problem is already here and you can try it out.

There is no harm in trying it out, since this stretch mark cream is made up of 100% natural ingredients. So it is totally safe and very beneficial to the skin. Rather than having it surgically removed considering the pain and the cost. You may just eventually find out that you have already benefitted from it in one way or another, since it is all natural.

Revitol Stretch Mark Cream consists of squalene oil, vitamin E, vitamin A, vitamin D3, DL-Penthenol, aloe vera and grapefruit seed extracts.  The only product that sounds synthetic is DL-Penthenol. But little did you know that it is derived from Pro-Vitamin B5. So it is still 100% natural. Upon application the product boosts the skin natural collagen and elastin production restoring the elasticity of the skin and will heal existing marks and preventing future marks too.

Results will be visible in a few weeks time, but will depend also on the frequency and amount applied. For severely affected areas, applying the cream three times a day is advised.

Revitol Stretch Mark Cream will essentially help diminish your adolescent stretch marks.

How to Reverse Skin Aging Naturally

Is it possible to reverse skin aging and take years off your face without any type of plastic surgery? We are not even going to trick you here and make the argument that Botox and other temporary filler injections aren’t “real” plastic surgery. They are light forms of surgery, and they are not included here. When it comes to all natural, non-surgiacl aging skin treatment options, is it possible to really turn back the clock?

Many people who have tried product after product that claimed to do just that over the years may roll their eyes and answer “no” here. That is understandable, but it is incorrect.

While not everyone can reverse skin aging 100% and look like youngsters again, everyone can make drastic improvements in the health and appearance of their skin without surgical intervention. The secret is looking beyond the heavily advertised market sitting down at the local store on the counter and see what else the world has to offer.

It just so happens to be a fact that the best skin care products on the market right now are not sitting at Wal-Mart next to the $3.99 face cream on a dusty shelf.  Those products will promise the moon, but they don’t actually have the power or proper ingredients to actually reverse skin aging.

The best aging skin treatment products offer something more than a super low price tag. They may cost a little more, but they will actually show you results when it comes to reviving the natural health of your skin.

So, what are these aging skin treatment products which can actually reverse skin aging and take years off your face?

They are all natural products which contain unique ingredients bypassed by manufacturers who want to sell a ton of product rather than really deliver results. They are products which gently nourish, cleanse, and replenish the skin cells rather than drying them out and creating additional problems.

The best way to find non-surgical options to reverse the signs of aging in your skin is to go online, rather than to the store. Start doing your research, starting with the skincare products you are already using. How natural are the ingredients? How high are the concentrations of the most active, beneficial ingredients? More importantly, do those ingredients actually have any proven qualities to reverse skin aging?

There are many product lines which deliver full details on all of this information online, if you just look around!

Click Here and discover effective reverse skin aging that diminishes fine lines, dry skin, and other signs of aging.

Aging Gracefully: Skin Care in Your 20′s, 30′s, 40′s, and Beyond

How to keep your skin looking great!

Invest some time and care!

Everyone wants to have younger looking skin. Unfortunately, even the most expensive skin care products, with all their claims of ‘reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles’, can’t turn back the years. However, don’t despair! There are steps that we can all take to make sure our skin looks healthy and vibrant and stays wrinkle-free for longer. All we’ve got to do is invest some time and care in looking after it.

It is important to understand the basic function of our skin in order to look after it properly. The skin is our body’s largest organ and comprises three major layers:

The Epidermis: This layer has five sub-layers; the outer layer consists of mainly dead cells which are continuously shed and replaced by cells beneath. The epidermis is also responsible for ‘water proofing’ your skin, protecting your skin from potential invasion of microbes and generate new skin cells which move from the deep layer of the epidermis to the outer layer, where they are eventually shed.

The Dermis: Is the ‘middle layer of the skin and is composed of connective tissue containing collagen and elastin. The dermis is thick in the palms and soles and very thin in the eyelids. It contains blood vessels, nerves, glands, and hair follicles.

The Subcutaneous layer: This layer consists of areolar and adipose tissue. Fibres from the dermis extend down into the subcutaneous layer and anchor the skin to it. The subcutaneous layer, in turn, attaches to underlying tissues and organs.

Aging of the skin

There are several factors influencing how quickly our skin ages, ranging from genetic factors, your natural skin type, as well as external factors such as exposure to sunlight, environmental factors and whether you smoke or not. In general, pale skins wrinkle faster than darker skins, which are protected by increased amounts of pigment and lipids.

Another vital factor is, of course, our age. Our skin looks and functions very differently at 20 as opposed to when we are 60.

Below is a skin care plan of how to look after your skin as the decades go by and how to adapt your skin care regime accordingly.

Looking after your skin in your 20s

Your 20s is a great time for your skin. You’ve left behind the adolescence acne and your skin has a radiant, youthful glow and the epidermis is well toned.

However, this is not the time to be complacent. In your 20s skin cell renewal drops by up to 28 per cent, dead skin cells are not as easily shed and external factors are starting to have a greater impact, leaving your skin slightly duller.

According to dermatologists, 80 per cent of all aging can be directly related to exposure to sunlight. Therefore, it is a good idea to avoid the mid-day sun, or if you have to be out in the heat of the day (especially in countries like Australia), than cover up. Penetrating UVA rays will start to damage collagen fibres and elastin coils in your skin.

Smoking one factor you can control and now would be a good time to quite. Smoking inhibits oxygen getting to the outer layer of your skin and has a premature aging effect. In addition, smoking can cause fine lines around the mouth over the years and this is to be avoided – if you want to keep your good looks.

Looking after your skin in your 30s

By the time you get to your 30s skin cell turnover has slowed. Environmental damage from pollution, smoke and sunlight are starting to take their toll on the dermis, causing collagen fibres to loosen so that skin starts to loose its tone and develop fine lines and wrinkles. When you smile, subcutaneous fat forms ridges and refuse to bounce back as readily as it once did. Your first wrinkles may start to appear.

By now you should have established a daily skincare regime that involves exfoliating (two or three times a week), cleansing, moisturising and sun protection for your skin. In your 30s, it’s important to maintain a balanced diet consisting of fresh fruits, vegetables, grains and fish, which are high in antioxidants such as Vitamins A, B, C and E. These Vitamins counteract free radicals in your body that help the skin to repair itself, produce the enzymes that stabilise collagen production, and stay moist and healthy. For further protection, try using a day crème, such as one that contains vitamin E, for example: Wildcrafted’s Age Defying Essence.

Alcohol should only be consumed in moderation as it deprives your skin of vital nutrients and may cause your facial blood vessels to become dilated leading to permanent, red ‘spider veins’ on your cheeks and in men often across the nose.

Maintaining well hydrated tissues by drinking plenty of water each and every day (3 litres a day is not at all excessive) is vital to retain moisture in your skin. In addition, you should ensure that you get enough quality sleep.

Looking after your skin in your 40s

In your 40s, collagen fibres decrease in number, stiffen, break apart, and form into a shapeless, matted tangle. Elastic fibres lose some of their elasticity, thicken into clumps, and fray. The result is the skin forms crevices and furrows known as lines and wrinkles. In addition, loss of fat in the subcutaneous layer leaves your skin more fragile, whereas the dermis will continue to lose its elasticity. A rich nourishing night crème, such as Wildcrafted’s rejuvenating night crème, becomes a vital part of your skin care regime.

During this time the stratum corneum (the outer layer of the epidermis) starts to grow even thicker, as dead skin cells hang around for longer. If you are not already using an exfoliant regularly, now is a good time to get into the habit of exfoliating your skin regularly using a facial scrub – 2-3 times a week is all that’s necessary. You could also use a cream containing Rose oil, Jojoba oil or similar, as these contain natural AHA’s (alpha hydroxy acids) and to help remove dead skin cells.

As deeper wrinkles start to form, you may wish to use a complete skin care system, which systematically helps you to nourish and moisturise your skin on all levels. Choose natural skin care products for your daily skin care regime, as you do not want to introduce unnecessary toxins into your system by using products full of unpronounceable chemicals. Quality natural skin care systems, such as Wildcrafted’s range of natural skin care systems should be matched to your specific skin type.

Looking after your skin in your 50s and above

As we reach our 50s and beyond, the hair and nails grow more slowly. Langerhans cells (involved in the immune response, dwindle in number, thus decreasing the immune responsiveness of older skin. Decreased size of sebaceous (oil) glands leads to dry and broken skin that is more susceptible to infection.

In women, after the menopause, decreased oestrogen levels mean that skin lose its plumpness and tone, and it may be left dry, itchy and more sensitive to allergens.

At this stage in your life it is important to take that extra care of your skin’s health. Mature skin is more fragile, prone to injury and infection and bruises easily. As if this was not bad enough, it also takes longer to heal. Taking care of your skin will reduce the aging effect; keep it healthier as well as more resistant to injury and infections. Remember, a face that has a lived in look is much more attractive than a Botox face and character is much more beauty.

What Are The Best Natural Remedies For Age Spots And Beyond

If you search the internet you’ll find millions of sites yelling about natural remedies for age spots but before you click on any link you must understand the root cause of age spots and how to treat the same.

Age spots are caused by a pigment called melanin. Degree of Melanin present in our skin determines the color of skin. When our skin is exposed to UV rays of sun this pigment breaks down and starts accumulating in various part of our body like back of hands, neck and face. This accumulation is seen as brown spots or liver spots.

If you are looking for natural remedies for age spots — then you should target solutions that help you to reduce the accumulation of melanin pigment.

More and more people are flocking towards the natural treatments instead of artificial treatments like chemo or acid burning. It is because the side effects of such artificial treatments are horrible and are almost permanent. Moreover these treatments are repetitive and expensive.

Without much ado let’s explore various natural remedies for age spots that we can use

Home Remedies

Lemon Juice – Its use on skin is very beneficial. If applied on the affected area of skin it gives wonderful results by reducing the spots in couple of months. But you have to be careful while using this because of the acidic nature of this juice. Since Vitamin C content is very high in it, people with dry skin should not over do it it will make their skin even drier.

Aloe Vera This is by far the most common used substance for skin as well as hair. Aloe vera is extremely soothing on skin and has anti inflammatory properties. It provides moisture to skin and helps in giving a smooth texture to skin.

And of course prevention is better than cure make sure whenever you go out in sun you protect your skin from direct sunlight. Either use a natural sun screen or use hats and umbrellas to protect your skin.

Home remedies can help only to a certain extent but if you are really serious about getting rid of these spots you must choose a skin care product that is targeted to reduce the accumulation of melanin. I would like to emphasize a point here that natural remedies for age spots is not limited to just use of home based treatments. There are skin care products that are made of all natural and organic ingredients. They have no side effects at all. These products also qualify as natural remedies for age spots.

Don’t just pick up products that say melanin on the ingredient label instead pick products that help you reduce melanin accumulation.

Skin Care Products There are skin care products that contain Extrapone Nutgrass Root this is a herb found in eastern continents and is used in many skin care remedies. The most striking quality of this herb is to check the accumulation of melanin in skin. When applied topically it gets absorbed by the skin and then it attacks the patches of melanin. It has been proven in labs that use of this ingredient can reduce the spots by more than 50% within few weeks.

The best thing you can do for your skin is; start checking out the products online and grab the best product.

What Is The Food For Healthy Skin And Beyond?

Looking beautiful and young is something that every person in this world wants; we go to any extent to achieve the same. And this urge becomes even stronger when we reach in our thirties and forties because by this time signs of aging start appearing on our skin.

As we grow, we act in a way to bring back our health on the right course and there is no denying that a balanced diet is the first step of the journey towards a beautiful and healthy skin.

In quest for food for healthy skin numerous papers and studies have been published. All of them ask you to stick to the basics. Let us revisit them.

1. Hydrate your body Water the most essential and balancing element of life. Our body consists of more than 70% of fluids. It is essential for us to keep our body properly hydrated lest we may have dry skin. You should drink at least 5-8 glasses of water every day to maintain a proper level of moisture in body. You should also aim to include health drinks like natural fruit juice, shakes etc. in your diet because higher fluid content means moist, soft and smooth skin.

2. Provide your skin the essential vitamins Vitamin C and Vitamin K are two most important vitamins, without these any list of food for healthy skin is incomplete. Vitamin C is very effective in reducing the wrinkles. All citrus fruits like Orange, Sweet Lime, Minneola and Grapefruit are rich sources of Vitamin C. Vitamin K on the other hand helps in repairing the skin and removing the imperfections of skin. Food sources for Vitamin K include green leafy vegetables, spinach, turnip greens, kale etc.

3. Include Antioxidant foods in your diet Other fruits, vegetables, cereals, legumes, nuts and seeds are very effective antioxidants. Antioxidants play a vital role in fighting the harmful effects of free radicals. Free radicals are the number one cause of wrinkles on skin. If you really want to reduce wrinkles start a balanced diet of fruits and vegetables.

It is a fact that food for healthy skin can help you in maintaining a good tonal quality of skin but it does not help you in reversing the signs of aging skin like age spots, lower collagen levels and deteriorating skin cells.

To compensate for all these signs, along with foods for healthy skin you need skin care products that consist of all natural active ingredients. Such products consist of ingredients that are targeted to increase collagen levels, remove age spots and fight wrinkles.

With so many products available in the market the decision to choose the effective ones should be straight forward. You should take a look at ingredients and then try to find out the side effects if any. Because, if the ingredients are not natural or are chemical based then the product is useless. For instance Mineral Oil is one such ingredient you should avoid. It clogs the skin pores and leads to acne and black heads. There are many more such ingredients that you should avoid.

One thumb rule that you can use is that all effective and natural ingredients are safe enough to eat.

In conclusion, the quest for glowing and young skin is incomplete if one relies only on food for healthy skin. Use of natural skin care products boosts the effect of such foods.
