Banned Plastic Shopping Bags Turned Into Eco-Hip Handbags by Conserve
Des Moines, Iowa (PRWEB) November 21, 2007
San Francisco became the first U.S. city to ban plastic shopping bags, but a nonprofit organization called Conserve has discovered a way to recycle those banned bags to create fashionable eco-hip handbags. And online retailer Just Nature Skin Care is bringing those European-style handbags to the U.S. market this holiday season to support the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).
Conserve employs hundreds of underprivileged women in Delhi to collect up to 6,000 discarded plastic shopping bags each day and deliver them back to the production facility. The bags are sanitized, sorted by color, and then arranged in beautiful patterns on a blank canvas. The canvas is fed into a heating unit where the plastic is fused together forming a single, colorful sheet of Handmade Recycled Plastic (HRP).
Fashion designers from London and Paris have created handbag patterns (templates) for the women to cut from the HRP sheets and then sew into stylish, European-style handbags. Conserve supports over 300 impoverished families via this fair trade model. To view the various bag styles and colors, visit www.JustNatureSkinCare.com and click on Planet Charity
In addition to supporting Conserve’s environmental work, 100 percent of the profits from handbag sales by Just Nature Skin Care through December 31, 2007 will benefit the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). TAPS serves as a compassionate resource for U.S. Military families coping with the grief of losing a loved one through active duty.
More than 50 recycled bags are used to make each handbag. The purses are hand-sewn and created from Handmade Recycled Plastic, so no two bags are exactly alike. Only 100 handbags per day are produced.
Online retailer Just Nature Skin Care has teamed up with Conserve to offer the ‘eco-hip’ handbags as part of a “Green Holiday Season Charity” event. The partnership builds on Just Nature Skin Care’s commitment to nature and giving back to the community.
“We saw the eco-friendly handbags as a positive reminder of how each of us can make a difference when it comes to the environment,” says Barbara Miller, Marketing Manager with Just Nature Skin Care. “And when it comes to making a difference, the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors rises to the top. TAPS is a remarkable organization and the assistance it provides to military families has never been more important.”
Conserve Handbags are available through the Just Nature Skin Care web site under Planet Charity.

Under Eye Wrinkle Cream That Treats Eye Wrinkles and Eye Bags Fast!
Most people can deal with a few wrinkles without the worry of feeling older. However, when wrinkles start to appear heavily around the eyes making it seem as though your 10 or even 20 years older, something has got to be done. But therein lies the question — what can be done to reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles around the eyes? That’s easy — you just need to use an under eye wrinkle cream.
Eye wrinkle cream is specially crafted to treat the area around the eyes, as that area is much more sensitive than other regions of the face. If you have ever applied a cream “too close” to your eyes, you know precisely why such a cream is important — as regular anti-wrinkle creams will often irritate the eyes, leading to redness, itchiness, puffiness, etc. Having said that, it is important to use a cream, such as under eye wrinkle cream, that has natural ingredients capable of soothing and caressing the eyes; rather than those that will irritate and bother them. And to be honest, trading wrinkled skin for younger looking skin that is constantly puffy, itchy, and red isn’t too good of a trade-off.
Wrinkle eye cream should be applied to the skin like any other anti-wrinkle cream. This means that you should apply it before bed as well as when you wake up in the morning — and for women, be sure to apply the wrinkle cream before your put on your make-up. And just like with using other wrinkle creams, you have to practice good skin care; cleanse your face thoroughly, avoid squinting, stop smoking, avoid cosmetic products with skin damaging ingredients, stop rubbing your eyes, use quality moisturizers regularly, etc. If, in addition to using an under eye wrinkle cream, you perform basic maintenance to preserve the youthfulness & integrity of your skin, the achieved results will be all the more impressive.
Eye wrinkle cream isn’t about fast & miraculous wrinkle removal treatment — it’s about long term, quality wrinkle removing results. This means you can’t expect to apply the under eye wrinkle cream and then have perfect, youthful skin around your eyes within minutes. It just doesn’t work that way. However, that doesn’t mean you should have to wait month after month to achieve results either. In fact, most of the people whom use under eye wrinkle cream see noticeable results within just 1-2 months. Do “results” imply complete wrinkle removal? No, not necessarily — it just means they have had significant improvement in terms of eye wrinkle reduction. That being said, if you are interested in instantaneous wrinkle removal, wrinkle eye cream probably isn’t for you.
So, the big question now is; should you try under eye wrinkle cream? In all honestly, only you can truly answer that question — but then again, with the awesome benefits that come with using this particular type of wrinkle, the answer should be quite obvious.
Tired of using that take days, if not weeks, to yield visible results? Want to make the switch to instant anti aging creams which LITERALLY work within mere minutes? If you do, then head on over to right now. Not only will you learn everything you need to know about anti aging & wrinkle removal, you’ll actually have the chance to for free! Article Source:
Under Eye Wrinkle Cream – The Fastest Solution for Eye Wrinkles & Undereye Bags
Anyone that has ever told you to use wrinkle cream in order to reduce wrinkles around your eyes is wrong. Well, partly wrong anyway. Yes, you should use wrinkle cream to reduce eye wrinkles, but not just any old wrinkle cream. In order to achieve effective, side-effect free wrinkle removal for your eyes, you have to use under eye wrinkle cream. Why? Because no other type of wrinkle cream can get the job done without causing you to suffer from the “fine print”.
What’s the “fine print”? Simply put, side effects. Most regular anti-wrinkle creams aren’t going to have a label that says “when this cream is applied near the eyes, you will experience a few mild-severe side effects”.
Why don’t they tell the customers about the side-effects? Because anti-wrinkle cream is supposed to be used for the face and body, not for the eyes — Hence, it’s not their problem. Having said that, if the unsuspecting customer decides to a jar of wrinkle cream in order to reduce eye wrinkles, well, they’ll be greeted with a couple of not-so pleasant side effects; puffiness, itchiness, redness, irritation, etc.
Why do these side-effects occur only around the eyes and nowhere else? Because the area of skin around the eyes is much more sensitive than other areas of the face; meaning it takes a whole lot less to cause irritation. This is precisely why under eye wrinkle cream should be used, as it is made with all natural ingredients that won’t irritate the skin. Having said that, be sure to find out what wrinkle cream ingredients commonly cause eye irritation and which ones don’t.
After hearing about the difference between regular anti-wrinkle cream & under eye wrinkle cream, what type of wrinkle cream do you think is best to use in order to get rid of eye wrinkles & fine lines?
